Students lodge with host families. Prices vary based on availability and the facilities offered.

-Private room, internet, no meals, access to kitchen facilities and weekly use of the laundry facilities - 375 - 500 US per month.

-Shared room, internet, no meals, access to kitchen facilities and weekly use of the laundry facilities - 250 - 350 US per month.

Course Fees

Fees can be paid directly into the bank account of the institute.  It is also possible to pay the fees on the first day of the course.  Payments made at the institute must be paid in cash.  Your registration is not complete until you have paid all fees and have received the official receipt of the school.

Daily Transportation

Most host homes are within a  20-30 minute driving distance of the institute. Public transportation is available at a cost of less than 2 US per day.

Dress Code

We maintain a casual but professional environment.  Jeans and tee-shirts are acceptable.  Shorts are not encouraged.

Immigration

You can enter the country with a valid passport.  The institute will provide you with an electronic letter to the immigration officer at the airport which will state the purpose and length of your visit and your proposed address in Trinidad. He will then stamp your passport giving you 5 days to apply for the student permit.

After you have completed your registration the institute will provide you with the required forms and guide you in the process of applying for the student permit.  The fee for a student permit is approximately US 100.00 and it is paid directly at the immigration office in Port of Spain.
You must present yourself to the Immigration Office within the first 5 days of your course of study.
